If you you’re not already celebrating National Poetry Month then tomorrow, April 26, is a great opportunity to get involved. Thursday is Poem in Your Pocket Day. The idea is to tuck a favorite poem into your back pocket to share with family, friends and co-workers.
NPR’s Morning Edition and host Renee Montagne spoke with poetry lovers across the country about clever ways they’ve come up with to celebrate. Listen to the report here.
Find the perfect poem for your pocket by browsing Poets.org, or by signing up to receive a poem from Poets.org each day during April.
